The Sinquefield Composition Prize is an annual competition for students at the University of Missouri. The winner is given an opportunity to write an original work for one of Mizzou's premiere large ensembles and have his/her work performed and recorded. 

A group of twelve musicians poses outdoors, wearing black attire. They hold various instruments, including a gong, flute, oboe, horn, and violin, exuding a formal and united tone. This is the 2025-2026 New Music Ensemble.
